Girish Chandra Tewari "Girda" (गिरीश चन्द्र तिवारी 'गिर्दा') was born on 10th Sep 1945 in Uttarakhand. Today Girda is not in between us but his column,poem,play writing, singing is always remain in the mind of all the Uttarakhand People. Above all he was great human being, social activists, great learner and motivation to the young writer. He had depth understanding of Uttarakhand culture which we can see in his written book and poem. I understand those people are very lucky who listened him face to face. Uttarakhand Kavya is about the Uttarakhand separate state movement poem written by him. We are really missing a humble and soft spoken human being. We can follow his thought.
